On June 9-11 this year on the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov the President of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao will pay a State visit to Uzbekistan. Also, President Hu Jintao will participate in the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

According to such report by the Uzbekistan National News Agency on June 5, during the visit the Uzbek and Chinese Sides will discuss the issues of expanding and deepening the Uzbek-Chinese cooperation, the outstanding problems of regional and international nature of mutual interest.

On the outcomes of talks the Sides are expected to sign bilateral documents directed to deepening cooperation of the two states in various areas, according to the report.

On June 10-11 the capital of Uzbekistan – Tashkent shall also host the Meeting of Council of Heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s member-states.
