Modern Uzbekistan, which is going to commemorate the 18th anniversary of its Independence this year, is confidently goes on the way of democratic reforms in all spheres, such as political, economic, social and cultural life.

Those reforms are aimed at establishing the law-governed, democratic state, open civil society and protecting human rights and freedoms.
