President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will visit Brussels on 24 January 2011 on the invitation of the President of the European Union Commission Jose Manuel Barroso.

During the visit, the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan’s relations with the EU and NATO, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest will be considered.

Signing of a number of documents aimed at deepening cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union in various fields is planned.
