On February 10 to 12 this year on the invitation of the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung Bak the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will go to the Republic of Korea on a State visit, the report by the Uzbekistan National News Agency said.

According to the report, during the visit the sides will discuss the issues of expanding and deepening the Uzbek-Korean cooperation, the outstanding problems of regional and international nature of mutual interest.

On the outcomes of talks in Seoul the sides are expected to sign a number of bilateral documents directed to deepening the interaction of the two states in various areas.
