The eighth international exhibition ExpoConstruction, organized by ZarExpo company, is continuing at the Uzexpocenter in Tashkent.

It has attracted more than 50 companies from almost 10 countries. The exhibition participants are demonstrating various construction materials, technologies and machinery, Uza informs.

A number of seminars and presentations for entrepreneurs are being held in the framework of the exhibition.

The construction market in Uzbekistan has seen rapid growth over the past years. In August 2009, President signed a resolution on expansion of construction of housing in rural areas.

Over the past period of 2011, 2,260 new rural houses were built. Besides, 155 new enterprises producing construction materials were launched.

One of the participating companies, Tashkent-based Deks produces dry mixtures and water-based paints widely used in finishing works.

Company manager Sherzod Kamilov said Deks produces over 30 types of products, delivering 100 tons of dry mixtures and 75 tons of paints monthly.
