The seventh International medical exhibition “PharmMedexpo Uzbekistan” opened at the Central Exhibition Hall of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan on 15 November.

It has been organized by the exhibition company ZarExpo together with the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan,Tashkent city administration, Dori-Darmon company, and Uzfarmsanoat concern, which unites local pharmaceutical producers.

More than 30 companies from Uzbekistan, Russia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan and Ukraine are participating in the event, UzA informs.

They are demonstrating medicaments, diagnostic and laboratory equipment, natural cosmetics and other products.

Today in Uzbekistan, over 100 pharmaceutical companies are operating. 80 of them are united in Uzfarmsanoat. Local scientists have created more than 30 medicaments over the years of independence.
