With development of market in Uzbekistan there is a growing need in professional appraisal services, the Narodnoye slovo Russian-language national newspaper wrote.

The newspaper cited the sources in State Committee for Property of Uzbekistan that in the framework of the joint pilot project now being implemented along with UNDP, namely “Support of development of appraisal methodology and practice in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, there have been elaborated three national standards of the Republic of Uzbekistan with further being registered at the Ministry of Justice of the country.

As a whole, the newspaper wrote, by early this year Uzbekistan had in operation 106 appraisal organizations and 478 certified appraisers. For over the year 2009 the volume of appraisal services made up 8,4 billion UZS.

In order to demonstrate the dynamics of growth of volumes of appraisal services the newspaper has also noted that in 2008 such indicator stood at 7,5 billion UZS, and in 2007 – 5,5 billion UZS.
