Turkistan palace hosted a solemn festivity held within “Attention and care for every child!” special week.

The celebration was organized by the Ministries of Culture and Sports, Public Education of Uzbekistan, Children’s Fund Sen yolgiz emassan (You are not alone), Tashkent city hokimiyat (governor’s office), Fund of Soglom avlod uchun (For healthy generation), the Association for support of children and families and other organizations.

Children from the houses of “Mehribonlik” (orphanages), families in need of social support, representatives of various ministries and public organizations were invited.

Lola Karimova-Tillayeva, chairman of the board of trustees of the fund Sen yolgiz emassan stressed that under the State program Year of Family in the country increasingly expanding the scope of work to enhance care and attention for young families, children, strengthening of cooperation between families, mahallas and educational institutions.

Particular attention is paid to improve the social, educational and psychological services in the houses of “Mehribonlik” to inculcate in young children such qualities like patriotism, generosity, kindness and honesty.

Gifts were given to the inmates of mercy houses, special boarding schools and the children of families with special needs.

Contests, concerts, interesting meetings, sporting events and trips to the sights bestow special joyful atmosphere to the celebration. All of this is clear evidence that all children, regardless of nationality, social and medical conditions are always at the center of attention in our society.

Summer scene of Turkistan Palace was decorated with many-colored lights and flowers. A big concert program with the participation of artists and young performers took place, UzA informs.
