The tourist potential of Uzbekistan has been widely presented at the International Tourism Fair Fitur 2012 held on 18-22 January in Madrid, Spain.

International exhibitions play an important role in the broad attraction of foreign tourists in Uzbekistan.

International Tourism Fair Fitur 2012 was an opportunity to demonstrate tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

Fitur 2012 is one of the largest international trade fairs in the world.

According to the organizers of the fair, it was attended by about ten thousand travel agencies and companies, experts and scholars from 167 countries.

In the forum, national stand of Uzbekistan attracted the attention of participants and guests of the fair with its unique design.

In it, the atmosphere of our region was created with bright national fabrics and images of picturesque part of the historical monuments.

Participants of the Travel Fair also could see the colorful album containing information about our ancient cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Tashkent and photography attractions.

Such companies in our country, like Uzbektourism, Uzbekistan Airways, Uzbekistan Railways, and El Mundo Tour, Marco Polo Central Asia Travel and Megatour participated in the international tourism fair.

According to Uzbektourism, participation in the International Fair will further enhance mutual cooperation in tourism and to conclude bilateral and multilateral mutually beneficial agreements.
