The republican competition “Vatan aziz, Jasorat mangu” (Motherland – sacred, courage – eternal) among the journalists of Uzbekistan has completed.

National Press Center of Uzbekistan hosted the awarding ceremony of the competition.

About 1,500 creative works of over a hundred journalists in the direction of television, radio, print and internet-journalism were presented at the competition.

Groups and employees of the creative unions and agencies, the media, nongovernmental organizations and independent journalists took part in it.

Winners of the contest received laptops, computer kits and digital TV sets according to their places.

A number of journalists were awarded with encouraging prizes of the Ministries of defence, internal affairs and emergency situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The songs and melodies praising the strength and power of our Armed Forces, peace and tranquility in the country were heard at the event, UzA informs.
