Uzbekistan football youth team celebrated three victories in a row in the group C qualifying matches for the upcoming 2012 FIFA World Cup among juniors under the age of 16 held in Tashkent.

The national team, composed of players born in 1996, in the first two matches defeated Kyrgyzstan 7-0 and India 9-0.

Headed by coach Dilshod Nuraliyev, on Friday they won the third match in the group against Bahrain with 2-0.

In the last minute of the first half, Dastan Khamdamov opened the score. In the second half, the Uzbek team scored the second goal. This time its author was Ibrohim Abdullayev.

Thus, the team of Uzbekistan, which is leading in the group C with 9 points, will play in the final stage of the Asian Cup next year, UzA notes.

On 9 October, Uzbekistan will play the last qualifying match with Tajikistan.

Juniors team of India will also participate in the continental championship. Despite the defeat from Uzbekistan, the Indian team won over Kyrgyzstan 7-0, Bahrain 2-1 and Tajikistan 4-1.
